Nairobi United, ‘Naibois’, delivered a composed and energetic performance at the Kasarani Annex, earning a 1–1 draw against Murang’a SEAL in a competitive SportPesa Premier League encounter on Friday afternoon. 


The hosts began the match with confidence, enjoying extended spells of possession and moving the ball efficiently through midfield. Naiboi’s attacking intent was rewarded early on, as the team capitalised on a well-executed build-up in the 9th minute. Ovella Ochieng’ intelligently played and set up Michael Karamor, who finished clinically to give the team a deserved lead. 


Murang’a SEAL responded with increased intensity, adjusting their structure and competing strongly for control in midfield. After the break, they applied sustained pressure and found the equaliser through Joe Waithira, who converted from close range following a well-worked attacking sequence at the 51st minute.
