MSEAL Fight Hard but Lose 2-3 to Bandari FC

A thrilling clash saw MSEAL fight from an early deficit to lead 2–1 through Waithira’s brace. In a heart-stopping finale, Bandari struck twice in quick succession to claim a 2-3 win, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Murang’a SEAL FC’s League clash against Bandari FC on Saturday, 21 February 2026, ended in a spirited 2–3 defeat.

After conceding early, the boys came out firing in the second half. Joseph Waithira equalised in the 56th minute with a composed finish and then doubled his tally 11 minutes later to put the team in front, showing exactly why he is such a key player for the club.

Bandari, however, remained organised and patient. Geoffrey Ojunga found the equaliser in the 81st minute, before Shariff Majabe scored in the 86th minute to secure the 2-3 win.

It was a match that reflected our character and ambition.

While the result did not go our way, there were clear positives to build on as we prepare for the next fixture.
