Murang'a SEAL Fight Back to Hold Posta Rangers After Dramatic Second-Half Shift

In a match that began as a nightmare but ended as a proud moment of resilience, Murang’a SEAL staged an impressive comeback to secure a 2–2 draw against Posta Rangers, a result that felt almost like a victory considering how the first half unfolded. 

Posta Rangers dominated early, slicing through MSEAL’s defense with sharp movements and clinical finishes. Caleb Olilo opened the scoring in the 23rd minute before Faustine Ojiambo doubled the lead with a precise header in the 36th. By halftime, Rangers looked in full control, and MSEAL appeared destined for another frustrating afternoon. 

But football, as always, had other plans. 

The MSEAL team that walked out for the second half was transformed; quicker in transition, stronger in duels, and far more aggressive in attack. Tactical adjustments tightened the midfield, with Levis Wanjala and Lucas Maina substituting shortly after, allowing MSEAL to push Rangers deeper into their own half. The momentum shifted, and soon, the comeback was on! ⚽️ 

In the 68th minute, Lucas Maina ignited hope with a composed finish that beat the Rangers goalkeeper. From that moment, belief surged. MSEAL pressed harder, chased second balls, and dictated the rhythm. Their persistence paid off in the 76th minute when Joe Waithira struck the equalizer, completing a revival that stunned Rangers and electrified the fans. 

The final stretch saw MSEAL defend smartly while still looking capable of stealing all three points. Though the match ended level, the performance marked a turning point; proof that MSEAL can fight their way back even in the toughest moments.
