Muranga SEAL battle hard at Nyayo, but face 0-2 defeat against AFC Leopards
Murang’a SEAL FC put in a spirited performance but ultimately fell 2-0 to AFC Leopards in a Sportpesa League clash held on 5th April at Nyayo National Stadium.
The first half saw a balanced contest, with Murang’a SEAL matching Leopards in intensity and limiting clear-cut chances. Moments of promise emerged through quick transitions and coordinated link-up play, but the final ball lacked the precision needed to break the deadlock.
Heading into the break at 0-0, there was a bit of hope that the Seals would make a turn on scores. However, the second half told a different story. AFC Leopards raised their tempo and capitalised on key moments, with Ronald Sichenje opening the scoring before Beja Hassan added a second to put the game beyond reach.
Muranga SEAL struggled to convert possession into meaningful chances and lost to AFC Leopards. Despite this result, the team shows a fighting spirit and has identified areas to improve as they look forward to the upcoming fixtures.
