Setting the Tone for 2026!!! MSeal Take Over Kasarani: Three Points Secured

Murang’a Seal stormed into 2026 with authority, claiming a commanding 2–0 away victory over Mathare United at Kasarani Annex. A disciplined defensive setup, ruthless finishing from Victor Haki, and a later goal by Jackson Imbiakha delivered all three points; a statement win to open the new year.

Murang’a Seal FC kicked off the new year in emphatic fashion with a well-earned 2–0 victory over Mathare United 🎉 🎉 🎉 in the SportPesa League clash played on 10th January 2026 at Kasarani Annex.

From the first whistle, MSEAL looked sharp, focused, and ready to make 2026 count. The team maintained its now-established three-man defensive structure, staying compact at the back while transitioning quickly whenever space opened up. Mathare United enjoyed spells of possession, but MSEAL's organisation and discipline limited the hosts to a few clear chances.

The breakthrough arrived in the 28th minute when Victor Haki finished off a well-worked move to give MSEAL the lead. The goal settled the side, allowing them to control the tempo and frustrate Mathare with smart positioning and calm build-up play.

Mathare pushed harder in the second half, committing numbers forward in search of an equaliser. However, MSEAL remained composed, as usual, soaking up pressure as frustration crept into the opposition’s play. Strong defensive coordination and game management ensured Mathare rarely tested the goalkeeper.

As the hosts chased the game late on, MSEAL struck again. Jackson Imbiakha sealed the victory in stoppage time, capping off a disciplined performance and confirming all three points for the visitors.

The result sees Murang’a Seal climb to ninth place on the league table with 21 points 🎉, now just nine points adrift of the league leaders; a strong position that reflects the team’s growing confidence and consistency. For Mathare United, the defeat marked a second consecutive loss, dropping them to 13th place, three points behind Seal.

For Murang’a Seal, this was the perfect way to open 2026; momentum building, belief rising, and eyes firmly set on pushing further up the table.
